Did home visits for Community Health nursing in Perris today. Visited moms and their kids to do assessments and follow-ups. On the way to one of the homes, which is pretty much set in a desert area with rocks and boulders with a bunch of other homes, we saw this odd looking house. It almost looks abandoned except that it has a satellite dish attached to it.

The Aladdin live show at California Adventure was really good.

People waiting for the fireworks show at 9:25 pm. This shot was taken at 7:30 pm. I don’t think I could sit in one place on the ground for that long without something really entertaining to keep me occupied. People walking around me for two hourswon’t do it.

There was a tree right in front of us. I thought the fireworks would be higher.

Ice cream and studying…. mmmmm. Only problem is that I’ve noticed my weight slowly starting to creep back up after shedding a few pounds. Time to start thinking about exercising again, but WHEN?!?! Three more weeks of school until it’s all over!!!!!

Saw this sign right before I got to the house and thought it was a funny road sign. “All of the above”… hehehe. We ended up getting a dog similar to Max, a poodle mix. We got it from the same rescue. I’ll post pictures of him soon.

Got to school early this morning and found ducks walking around. Really cheered up my early morning.

Study gang

Started at noon and lasted all the way to 9 p.m. We’re so diligent. Thanks to Mel and Chris for a wonderful lunch.

Started the day off with a big Dim Sum breakfast. We actually couldn’t finish it all… that’s pretty unusual for this family. Went to watch “17 Again” after the meal. The movie was actually pretty good. Went off to sell a printer and came back to take a big nap. After a ramen dinner, which I couldn’t finish, I started on the paper for school. It’s been a struggle trying to stay focused. It’s 1:30 a.m. and I’m still on my first page of five.

Tomorrow will be at Mel’s place for a group study session. Taking the kids with me.
